Well, last night I graduated with my MS in Education. I still have a bunch of paperwork left to fill out for my new job but at least the degree is finished. I will be spending the next few weeks preparing my coursework for the coming year and cleaning and organizing my classroom so I should be pretty busy. My last class was taught by a prof who is really interested in Classical Education, so it was a very interesting week for me since I shared that common interest with him. I have a few ideas even that I’m going to try to incorporate into how I approach teaching science.
On a side note, I’ve noticed that in the two months I’ve taken off from Greek that it is already starting to fade a bit. So when I return to my studies I think I’ll start over with the alphabet and also re-do the first three lessons in my grammar. That should only take me a week once I start up again, and then I’ll be pretty much back where I left off. I may update this post later with a picture of me from graduation, but I don’t have any readily available right now.

Hey,
Congradulations on you graduation. What are you going to be teaching? I graduated with an MDiv in spring of 2007. I have also found it difficult to continue with my Greek and Hebrew. I have been trying to get a community of people together on a forum I created the Open Source Bible Translation, http://osbt.wikispaces.com . Have a look if you are interested.
Grace and Peace,
mike
